Suomi-Seuran Intensiivinen suomen kielen kurssi 2014
Finland Society's Intensive Finnish Language Course 2014
July 14 - 25, 2014 (arrival on Sunday, July 13)
Laajasalon opisto / Laajasalo Folk High School, which is located in a suburb of Helsinki, about 9 kilometers from the city center. There are good and rapid connections between the Laajasalo Folk High School and the city.
We offer a language course specifically designed for descendants of Finnish emigrants. Foreign spouses are also welcome to participate in the course. The minimum age is 18.
The objective of the course is to maintain a connection with Finland. It can also serve as an introduction to living in Finland.
This language course has been held for many years, and it has been very popular with the participants.
Finnish (50 lessons) taught by native Finnish teachers at three levels:
- Elementary - To achieve the best results, we assume that you have at least a slight notion of the Finnish language, i.e. you have some prior knowledge but find it difficult to produce more than a few key words and phrases, and you have no real understanding of the grammar. Maybe you haven’t used the language in a while and/or want to start from ‘the beginning’.
You will be tested at the beginning of the course in order to be placed in a group of students roughly on the same level as you.
