“Italy has a strong design culture and heritage and Italians really appreciate design. Therefore, it is very natural for Marimekko
to be present in the Italian market”.
What is your target customer in Italy?
“Our target customer is bold in expressing herself through her choice of attire and dressing up her home. She appreciates design as a means of bringing beauty into her everyday life, contemporary style and high-quality products”.
What are the products you sell the most in Italy?

“Milan Design Week
is one of the most important design events in the world, so it offers us a great meeting point with design lovers from around the world. Of course, taking part in Milan Design Week
has increased the brand awareness of Marimekko
along the years”.
What's your goal for next Milan Design Week?
“We are yet to announce our plans for the Milan Design Week
, but we will keep you up to date. We of course hope to meet many old and new friends of Marimekko
during the event”.
